The University of Bolton, located in Bolton, Greater Manchester, is a public university in the United Kingdom with a long and a proud history of 200 years, since its’ origin in 1824. As one of the leading universities in England, University of Bolton stands out as a well-regarded higher education institution in UK, consistently achieving

commendable rankings.

 

University of Bolton is ranked as a Top 30 university by the Guardian University ranking (2024), No 1 in UK for Student satisfaction by the Complete University Guide (2024) and No 1 University for teaching quality in Northwest by Times University ranking (2023).

University has approximately 11,000 students and 900 academic and professional staff. Around 70% of its students are from UK, a reflection of the quality and the reputation it has maintained among the British people over centuries. Academic partnership established between CIRP and University of Bolton, now provides the opportunity for students to experience world class university education in Psychology, studying at CIRP in Sri Lanka.

Bringing together the international academic quality standards and resources of University of Bolton and the expertise and commitment of CIRP in Psychology education in Sri Lanka creates an excellent synergy that would produce world class psychology graduates.

Academic pathway created by this partnership enables students to complete their Diploma of Higher Education in Psychology and progress in to the final year of the Bachelor’s Degree program. Students graduate with a degree from University of Bolton, a Top 30 university in UK along with the benefits and privileges of obtaining an internationally recognized psychology qualification.

CIRP’s collaboration with University of Bolton is not a mere transnational academic partnership, but a multi-faceted relationship that has developed over years. Two organizations have a very good understanding at management, administration and academic staff levels.

 

University of Bolton is one of the first universities in UK to start offering degrees in Psychology, and as the pioneer and leader in offering international level psychology program in Sri Lanka, CIRP considers it a privilege to partner with a university of this caliber.

As a result of this partnership CIRP students will earn an internal degree from a prestigious university as opposed to the external and distance learning degrees made available in Sri Lanka. Considering that obtaining career opportunities and postgraduate studies in psychology require a credible qualification from a recognized awarding body, this partnership wil open up excellent global opportunists to CIRP students.
