Rosharn Amarasinghe Appointed as Director of Innovation and Community Engagement at CIRP



Mr. Rosharn Amarasinghe a young versatile Sri Lankan professional in marketing & branding strategy with decades of experience in both Sri Lankan and multinational organizations has joined CIRP as the Director for Innovation and Community Engagement.


A past student of St. Thomas’s Prep School and Asian International School, Rosharn completed his bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from University of Northumbria in United Kingdom. Then he went on to complete two master’s degrees, an MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University UK and an Executive MSc in strategic marketing from AEU Malaysia. Currently he is pursuing his Doctoral degree in Business Management.

In addition to his very impressive academic background, Rosharn has excelled in professional education holding a postgraduate diploma in Marketing from CIM and a postgraduate diploma in Diplomacy from Bandaranaike 1nternational diplomatic Training institute.


He has also demonstrated strong academic and research skills publishing over seven papers in international conferences, focusing on Gender based and domestic violence as well as cyber security, national policy and military technology.


Rosharn holds several key positions in the corporate sector, including the position of Country Director of eSec Forte Technologies Sri Lanka Limited, a subsidiary of eSec Technologies Singapore, CEO of Dynatech International and Director of Champions Combat Entertainment. Industries His expertise spans industries such as Cyber security/ IT, startup consultancy and Combat sports development.


In his new role as Director of Innovation and Community Engagement, Rosharn is expected to lead CIRP to a new level by  incorporating technology to enhance the learning experience of students and engaging various  communities CIRP’s initiatives, contributing more to society as a higher education organization.
